After the resurrection of Jesus, he showed himself over a period of forty days and spoke about the kingdom of God.

During this forty-day period, two disciples walking toward Emmaus encounters Jesus. At first, they weren't able to recognize Jesus, but after Jesus broke bread and blessed them, they saw Jesus.

There, Jesus told them that the repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name to all nations, beginning at Jerusalem. Throughout this period, Jesus gives the disciples the authority to proclaim this gospel to the ends of the earth and spread the story of Jesus, the story of beautiful love.

As you meditate over the meaning of Easter, let us feed and take care of the Lord's sheep until the truth covers the whole earth.
